HESS, Carrelton R., 94, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Thursday February 28, 2013. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U. S. Air Force, a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and served two tours in the Vietnam War. Carrelton was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry and the VFW Lodge #548, Morgantown WV. He was the son of Ralph and Pearl Hess, formerly of Morgantown WV, and the second of four sons. He and his wife Mickie Hawkins Hess, were the parents of Janie Hess. He is survived by daughter, Janie Hess; grandchildren, Karrie, Jay and Adam; great grandchildren, Aaron, Miranda, Kayla, Cody and Ryan. Military Honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11th at the Florida National Cemetery.
