GARGIULO, Anthony John, Sr., 81, of Lutz, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013. He was born in Manhattan, New York and moved to Florida in 1965. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Anthony was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus (3rd Degree). He was an acrobat, carnival business owner and promoter, carpenter, truck driver, and security guard. Anthony was proud to be a part time crew member at McDonald’s in Lutz. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a clown for birthday parties for 20 years. He was an active election deputy, working the past election and he emailed politicians weekly about issues. Anthony was the oldest living Polio survivor and is in the medical journal for Herrington Rod History. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Honoria; son, Anthony Garguilo Jr. and his wife, Donna of New Port Richey; three daughters, Linda Kerr and her husband, Tommy of Georgia, Dorothy Taylor and her husband, Kent of New Port Richey and Honoria Nadeau and her husband, Greg of Land O’ Lakes; brother, Nick Garguilo and his wife, Bonnie; six sisters, Marie Forward, Connie Salome, Ann Lambert, Charlene Bellucci, MaryAnn Malone and her husband, Willie and Rachel Savarese and her husband Michael; seven grandchildren, Waylon and his wife, Jamie Lynn, Tye, Shea, Christopher, Anthony, Amber and Wesley and two great grandchildren, Leila Grace and Logyn Nathanial. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23rd at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Donations may be made in Anthony’s memory to Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
