Son “Son of Seminole” was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman and collector of Indian artifacts. He has published multiple books, spoken for college classes, civic groups, schools, scouts, museums, and libraries about primitive Americans and Indian artifacts. For over 35 years readers of the Donaldsonville News have been able to enjoy his weekly column about the great outdoors. He served as the president of The Kolomoki Archaeological Society, The Florida Bowhunters Council and The Florida West Coast Archaeological Society. For almost 20 years he ran a well-respected educational website for collectors of Indian artifacts, serving as his tribute to the hobby he loved so much. Son influenced and mentored many in the artifact community, his wealth of knowledge made him an archeology legend and he will live on and on in the hearts and minds of the collectors who had the chance to learn from him. For his family he was the man who was knowledgeable about and could fix just about anything and the fun grandpa (Pa) full of interesting stories that we could listen to for hours and eventful boat rides.
