Obituary of Mildred A Metrosky

Mildred A. Metrosky, 89, of Land O' Lakes, Fl died Friday, March 22, 2024 at Pretty Pond Manor, Zephyrhills, FL.

She was born on June 21, 1934 in Trenton, NJ and was the daugher of the late Joseph A. and Ann Olszewski.

She graduated from Cathedral High School and St. Francis School of Nursing and was employed as a Registered Nurse for 40 years at St. Francis Medical Center.  She also taught Lamaze for 20 years.

She is survived by her husband John S. Metrosky, who served for three years on active duty with the U.S. Army; a son John J. (Anneli); two daughters Carol Metrosky and Patricia (Dean) Raymond; grandchildren Jake Metrosky, Alexandra Raymond, Samantha Raymond and two great grandchilden; two sisters, Bernice Elliot and Sr. Martha Olszewski; a brother Joseph (Patricia) Olszewski; many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary where she was in the Choir and Catechism Teacher; and a member of the U.S. Trotting Association.  She and her husband John bred and raced standardbred racehorses.
